Living heritage and exceptional craftsmanship
Glove puppets
Our workshop perpetuates the know-how linked to the making of glove puppets, a true living heritage of the art of puppetry:
- Custom sculpting: Each head is meticulously carved from wood essences selected for their lightness and grain. The shaping adapts precisely to the morphology and technique of the puppeteer, guaranteeing maximum expressiveness and perfect ergonomics.
- Calibrated proportions: The dimensions of each element follow precise ratios, inherited from centuries of technical refinement, where the balance between aesthetics and functionality defines the quality of movement.
- Artisanal finishing: After sculpting, each piece receives several layers of primer and paint, applied using traditional methods that guarantee durability and brilliance to the characters.
- Bespoke gloves: The costumes are designed and sewn in our workshop, using fabrics rigorously selected for their suppleness and resistance, allowing fluid and expressive manipulation.
Adapted puppet booths
Our puppet booths complement this puppetry ecosystem, with a design combining lightness and functionality. Fully dismountable, they adapt to all performance spaces while preserving the acoustic and visual essence of glove puppet theatre. We also produce adjustable educational versions, facilitating initiation into this ancestral art.
On commission, we place these exceptional skills at the service of your project, whether artistic, educational or heritage-related.
